Ponyride is a nonprofit founded within a 30,000 square foot building in Detroit, committed to facilitating the growth of social missions for artists, entrepreneurs, makers, and nonprofits. We activate space, offer it at a low cost, and encourage organizations with social missions to utilize it and outgrow our space. Businesses and community-driven efforts that will strengthen Detroit grow and develop at Ponyride.

Every year Ponyride hosts a 2-day Holiday Makers Market at its 1401 Vermont Street location in Corktown, Detroit. The market features cool, inventive products and creations from not only the Ponyride tenants, but also from a curated selection of local, independent maker-preneurs. Last year, over 3,000 people attended the market and we are expecting even more this year!

On Friday, December 9th from 6p to 10p, Ponyride friends and family are invited to enjoy a Sneak Preview Fundraising Event featuring the participating market vendors and proceeds will benefit educational outreach programs and initiative development for the organization. The special event will include an open bar, hors d’oeuvres, and entertainment throughout the space. Ponyride is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all contributions are tax deductible to the extend of the law. Tickets are $25 pre-sale and $35 at the door. To purchase tickets, go to https://2016holidaymakersmarket.eventbrite.com.

On Saturday, December 10th from noon to 6p, Ponyride will open its doors for the Detroit community to enjoy access to the diverse set vendors, the unique space, and food and merriment for people of all ages. Over 70 designers and makers from Detroit and beyond will be presenting a variety of high-quality handcrafted products and Detroit grown packaged food. This event is free, open to the public and will be filled with fun and entertainment.
